If you’re beginning a bathroom remodel, there are several factors to consider as you put your plans together. It’s a good idea to keep the following in mind as you discuss plans with your contractor.
1
How many people will be using your bathroom?
2
Will you be considering repositioning walls to add more space in my bathroom for a larger shower or additional sink?
3
Will you be upgrading your shower accoutrements like a window, built-in shelving, bench and/or footrest, floor update, doors or curtain?
4
Do you want to install new plumbing options like different size drainpipes and updated toilet style?
5
Will you be upgrading your lighting options – recessed lighting, possible dimmer switch, proper lighting for bathroom use?
6
Do you have room for recessed medicine cabinets if upgraded cabinets are an option?
7
Will you be installing new under-vanity cabinet and drawers?
8
Will you be needing safety rails for disabled and/or aging people?
